Things are Looking Up

Hello All. Thanks for listening/reading my last downer of an entry. I just wanted to let you all know that things are getting better. I am starting to understand my job and starting to like it. I guess it has taken me quite sometime to get my thoughts around not being a nurse and getting that nasty cold out of my system. Yeah, we are all healthy at the moment! It has been 2 months since we started passing around sickness in this home. Alhumdillah, we are all feeling better and are able to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather. The weather has been great. In the 60-70's, sunny and beautiful. We have been heading to the park and running around outside. A little sunshine always does the body good!

The kids are great. Little Miss will be 3 in the next few weeks. I can't believe it, my baby 3?! However, she is acting as though she is 3 already. I can't tell you all the stories she tells. When she is not telling a story, she is reading a story. She loves to 'read' her books. She's not actually reading; however, she has all of her books memorized and she does her best to recite them! This week she has learned how to spell her first word....her name! She can spell it and read her name! Proud Momma over here.

Little Boo is busy as ever. I really don't know of any little one as busy and as naughty as him. He is in to everything and tearing apart everything. He is so smart and determined. Please, don't get in his way because you will see a side of him that I don't want you to see...naughty naughty little man when someone tells him no. He and his sister are becoming such great friends. It's so much fun to watch them play games and laugh with each other. It's simply beautiful.

I can't seem to find enough time in the day. I keep thinking about all of you, but just can't get on the computer with enough energy to write. I am sorry for my laziness. I guess working 3 days a week, raising two little ones and taking care of a home is taking all of my energies these days. I feel tired all the time and I also feel behind all the time. There just is never enough time in the day to get the things done that I need or want to get done. I need to organized my life!

Hubby is good. Busy working as well. He has been working a lot of late hours recently, so we don't see him as much as we would like. However, he is doing what he needs to do and that's fine with us as well.

We are thinking about coming home (to MN) this summer, but don't have any set plans. It is mostly dependant on work and work schedules. I know many people are asking about when we are coming...probably latter summer...however, no committments on this end at the moment. So sorry not to commit; however, those who know us best are not surprised I'm sure ;-) We miss you all and can't wait to see and hug you!

Take care.

  1. I'm glad things are going better. Things always look brighter when we're feeling better. Can't wait until we see you again. Take care of yourself, Aisha and Booboo. Hello to Yanal. Love, Mom
