It would take you all day, every day to keep up with the messes your children make. And, that isn't what's important right now.

Harmon Kilabrew (ex-MNTwin) talks about his wife's obsession with their lawn, Harmon responded, "We're raising kids here, not grass".

Enjoy Aisha and Omar, they'll be gone before you know it.

One more thought, if you got a part time job and brought Aisha and Omar to a daycare, the mess wouldn't happen at home!

Love, MomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425311049192658641.post-73419872343977848082010-01-07T19:27:21.892+02:002010-01-07T19:27:21.892+02:00I used to obsess about my house in Cottage Grove b...I used to obsess about my house in Cottage Grove being clean. With everything I went through this past year, I realized that there needs to be a balance. Sometimes the house needs to get cleaned in order to me to feel relaxed. Sometimes the house needs to stay dirty so I have some down time to myself in order to feel relaxed. The more you get used to your new routine with the kids, hopefully the more you'll learn about yourself... and the easier it will be for to you to find that balance? Here's hoping!

Love, LauraAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4425311049192658641.post-39772784404943977432009-12-31T04:52:22.105+02:002009-12-31T04:52:22.105+02:00We are made out of the same mold when it comes to ...We are made out of the same mold when it comes to this topic, Beth.

There is only one thing that comes to mind that I have found to help me cope with my obsession for order and a clean house--- get out of the house. Remove yourself from your obsession. Leave the messy house behind and enjoy your day. Life goes on while the messy house is waiting for you to get home. --- I know that is hard to do with one vehicle that is not always available to you. But, try to do that whenever you can. It will be good for you.

As for your comments about how you should be able to accomplish everything when you are home all day... I think the same thing and I don't even have kids! :-) I think that everyone does. Have you ever heard mom say, "it takes me all day to get nothing done?". Obviously, she never does nothing. And, obviously she is very wise. :-)

Hang in there.

Love you,
SarahAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
